Start Your Family's Holiday Traditions Downtown!

holidays-parade-2Join us Saturday, December 2  at 4:30 p.m. as we kick off the holiday season by lighting the Liberty Pole. This year's lighting is presented by Sharp Notions and supported by iHeart  Media. 

 Schedule of Fun!  

4:30 o.m.: Listen to holiday musical performances as Santa, Rudolph, Elves, and local sports team mascots greet kids at the Liberty Pole5 p.m.: Lighting of the Liberty Pole5:10 p.m.: Family holiday parade from Liberty Pole to Dr. MLK Jr, Park (including Roch. Fire Dept's hook and ladder truck!)5:30 p.m.: Fireworks greet the parade at MLK Park.5:30-8:30 p.m.: FREE ice skating, horse-drawn carriage rides, and kid crafts at MLK Park Ice Rink! Skate rental is $3 and limited, so bring your own ice skates if possible!



FREE trolley rides may be taken back to nearby parking from the rink until 8:30 p.m. 

FREE Parking is available at the East End Garage, 475 E. Main St.;  Washington Square Garage, 111 Woodbury Blvd; and Mortimer Street Garage, 25 Clinton Ave North between Mortimer St & Division St.
