A 28-year-old guy named Patrick Hanks from Conshohocken, Pennsylvania got married to a 31-year-old woman named Jennifer Sullivan last week. And...he wore a Philadelphia Eagles jersey during the ceremony instead of his tux.
It turns out that last year, Jennifer made a bet with a mutual friend of the couple. If the Eagles won the Super Bowl, Patrick could wear an Eagles jersey during their wedding. And if the Eagles lost, the friend would watch every single episode of EVERY version of "The Real Housewives" with Jennifer. Even D.C.
Well...the Eagles won the Super Bowl back in February. And Jennifer made good on the bet, and let him wear the jersey to their wedding.
She says that all of their friends and family knew about the bet, so when the Eagles won, her phone, quote, "Blew up. Everyone was texting me...my parents, my boss."
After the ceremony, Patrick was nice enough to take the jersey off and put his tux jacket back on.
