Over $600K Raised For Woman Who Lost Family In Duck Boat Accident

In the duck boat accident in Missouri last week, 17 people died and nine of them were members of Tia Coleman’s family. The boat capsized during a sudden storm on Table Lake Rock near the tourist hotspot of Branson.

While no one can imagine the pain Tia is going through, having lost her husband and three children, along with other family members, many people want to help. A GoFundMe campaign has been created by her sister and so far, it’s raised over half a million dollars in donations in just two days.

"GoFundMe guarantees that all funds raised will go directly to the Coleman family,” explains GoFundMe spokeswoman Katherine Cichy. “Our hearts are with Tia and her loved ones as they recover from this tragedy."
