When Doris Stiles-Scrown saw a man holding his phone under the Salt Lake City Rue 21 dressing room door where her 12-year-old daughter was trying on a school uniform, she became enraged. The man, knowing he was caught, took off but Doris chased him down in the parking lot and, along with the help of other shoppers, held him at bay until the police arrived.
During that time, she filmed the alleged voyeur, saying things like, "This right here is what a predator looks like. Not today, buddy. Not today. I’m going to make sure your face gets out, so that you’re not in any more stalls looking (at) little girls dressing. I’m going to make sure you go viral."
She went on to scream at him, "You’re a sick pervert. A 12-year-old girl, 12-year-old girl! That’s what she gets for her birthday? Her birthday’s in two days, she gets some sick pervert looking under her stall, trying to grab her?"
Police arrested the man, 36-year-old Jorge Leon-Alfaro, and are investigating him for voyeurism against a child under the age of 14.
