Girl Scout Cookie Season Is Here...With A New Gluten Free Cookie

There’s a lot of good food out there that will try and tempt us to break our New Year’s resolutions to eat well, get healthy and lose weight, and now you can add Girl Scout cookies to that list.

Girl Scout Cookie season officially kicked off yesterday, and in addition to everyone’s favorites like Thin Mints, Tag-Alongs, and Samoas, a new cookie is entering the mix this year. The 2019 lineup now includes the Caramel Chocolate Chip, featuring rich caramel, semisweet chocolate chips, and a hint of sea salt. Even better for some, this chewy cookie is gluten-free, joining the Toffee-tastic gluten free cookie, which was introduced in 2015.

This year, Girl Scouts who participate in the cookie program also have the chance to win a unique experience featuring the DC Super Hero Girls by entering the Cookie Pro contest. In total 24 girls will win a trip to California, featuring a VIP adventure at Warner Bros. studio, activities featuring DC Super Hero Girls, a special Girl Scout Cookie Pro recognition event and more.
