A study from the University of Nottingham suggests drinking a cup of joe could activate fat-fighters inside your body.
Coffee might help stimulate the brown fat cells that help us burn calories faster.
The scientists started by testing out coffee on stem cells to see if it would stimulate brown fat. Once they found the right dose, they moved on to humans to see if the results were similar.
The research is still in the early stages because only nine people took part in the study.
