Bills Allowed To Host Limited Fans For First Home Playoff Game In 25 Years

Fans will be permitted to attend the Buffalo Bills' first home playoff game in 25 years.

New York Governor Andrew Cuomo announced Bills Stadium will be allowed to host a limited number of fans for the Bills' Wild Card playoff game next week. Buffalo will allow a total of 6,772 fans in attendance for its game, which will be scheduled on January 9 or 10, and fans in attendance must follow CDC guidelines to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

"NYS, @NFL and @BuffaloBills have come to an agreement to allow ~6,700 fans to attend the first home playoff game," Gov. Cuomo tweeted. "The stadium is outdoors. Every fan must test negative before game, wear a mask & social distance. There will be post-game contact tracing. To Bills fans -- be smart."

Approximately 6,200 tickets will be available for purchase to Bills Season Ticket members that opted into purchasing tickets earlier in the year, according to the Bills' official website. Tickets will go on sale on December 31.

Club season ticket members will receive an email form the franchise with a set time to go online and select club tickets. Non-club season ticket members will receive an email with similar instructions on when to go online to select tickets on Friday, January 1, 2021.

The Bills clinched the AFC East Division title earlier this month for the first time since 1995. Buffalo has appeared in the playoffs during two of the last three seasons, but hasn't hosted a home game since 1995.
