Over the weekend we took our new vintage camper out for the first time to Catalina State Park in Oro Valley. We want to get to "know" her before we make any big changes, and we thought this was a great way to start.
The setup and take down was actually surprisingly simple! However, it was still unpleasantly warm out, even at night. Thank GOODNESS we brought a tower fan that we could use when we plugged in. It really helped with air flow. After that experience, we are pretty sure our first project is going to be putting in an AC unit.
We also got a chance to hike the small loop in Catalina State Park the next morning. Even that low, there is so much damage from the Big Horn fire- it was so heart breaking to see!!!
We also saw a GIANT snake on the trail (not a rattlesnake). We think it was a bull snake? It had just eaten something too because it's belly was HUGE!
