Waggytail Rescue is a small nonprofit rescue based out of NYC and they mainly rescue small breed animals! But, they also have Waggy West which saves animals from overcrowded and high kill shelters here in Los Angeles.

Waggy West then brings the dogs from Los Angeles to their main rescue in NYC. Unlike most rescues though they will not ship the dogs in cargo, instead they look for chaperone volunteers to transport the dogs. That way it is a much less scary trip for these little pups!

Best part is they will provide a carrier and they will reimburse the dog's ticket. So, you really have nothing to lose! Plus, just think of the puppy cuddles you'll get to have by doing something so great.

If you have an upcoming trip from LA to NYC you should seriously consider it as they currently do not have anyone signed up and they have almost 200 rescued dogs here in LA. I'm totally doing this if I go to NYC in the future!
