The Minnesota Police Department took to Twitter on Thursday to warn marijuana users of their "undercover 4/20 operations." The now-viral tweet features a photo of a police officer holding a net while hiding behind several items meant to entice stoners, including Cheetos, Doritos, Mountain Dew, a bag of food from White Castle, and Xbox video games. "Discreet traps have been set up throughout the city today," they captioned the shot.
Wyoming police also made light of the issue. "We heard complaints about someone not having enough drugs for #420 so if you're a drug dealer hit us up so we can... connect," they wrote.
After the tweet gained traction across the social platform, the department noted, "All jokes aside, substance abuse is a real issue. We use tongue in cheek humor to bring attention to those issues."
