Every Week, Man Loads Car With Starbucks For His Sick Dad. But Barista Learns He Already Died

One man’s vow to keep his father’s legacy alive with Starbucks brings so much joy to those who need it most.

Dan Dewey walks into his local Starbucks every Thursday at 10:30am in Michigan, he then orders 12-24 drinks, read off a long handwritten list. Dan is not a caffeine addict- he is bringing the coffee to chemotherapy patients in hopes of brightening up their day.

The tradition started when Dan’s father Edgar was undergoing chemo at the local hospital. Dan, feeling helpless wanted to do something nice for those in treatment began to take the orders of the other patients when running out to get his Dad’s favorite drink. Right before Egar lost his battle with cancer he made Dan promise to keep the tradition going.

The local community took notice and started contributing too! Watch the video above to see this heartwarming story of giving back!
