Woman Uses County Money to Buy Dog Tuxedo

A former administrative assistant to an Arkansas official has pleaded guilty to using county cash to buy personal items, including a tuxedo for her pet pug. The AP reports that Kristi Gross pleaded guilty this week to charging a whopping $200,000 to a Garland County credit card.

Among the items she purchased with the funds were a diamond bracelet, sequined throw pillows and pet insurance (presumably for her well-dressed pug). Gross will be sentenced on November 22.
