The Blue Cross Arena will host a vigil Monday night to honor Trevyan Rowe, the 14-year-old who went missing Thursday and whose body was discovered Sunday evening in the Genesee River.
Trevyan's bus dropped him off Thursday morning at School Number 12, but police say he never entered the building.
We're learning more about the timeline after Trevyon Rowe apparently walked away from his school Thursday morning. Before anyone knew he was missing, there were calls to 9-1-1 -- starting at 8:08 a.m. -- reporting a person on the 490 bridge in Rochester. State police say troopers reported minutes later seeing no one there. The body believed to be Trevyon's was found yesterday in the Genesee River near the bridge
Staff at the Mary Cariola Children's Center are hoping to prevent another Trevyan Rowe tragedy. They will host a workshop for teachers, school staffers and parents to pass along information about working with students who may wander. It's set for March 22 from 1 until 3 p.m.
