When students at the University of Rochester graduate on May 20th, they'll have an inspiring woman giving them advice about their future! The CEO of Mattel, Margaret (Margo) Georgiadis will be delivering the 2018 Commencement address at U of R, where she will also be bestowed the university's George Eastman Medal (which recognizes outstanding achievement and dedicated service).
Georgiadis is one of the 32 women executives who are leading a Fortune 500 company currently.
The President of the University, Richard Feldman, said:
"I am very happy that Margo has accepted our invitation to speak to the College's Class of 2018. Through her leadership, Mattel is reimagining the toy company's products and redefining its culture to effectively reposition itself in a very competitive and changing industry."
