30 years ago U2 rocked LA with their live video.

On March 27, 1987, madness came to a street corner in Los Angeles, led by Bono and U2!

It was thirty years ago when the band did a live performance of their hit "Where the Streets Have No Name" at the corner of Seventh and Main St. in LA, causing traffic nightmares--which are common in Los Angeles.

As you will see in the the original video (which was recorded at the Republic Liquor store) the LAPD was not happy when 1,000 people showed up to watch after being alerted by Los Angeles radio stations.

Yes, the power of radio always bring out a crowd, and great music!
