Girl waves to cop everyday, but when she doesn't show up, he....

It is Police Week in America, and I wanted to share another story today of how much difference our men and women make in people's lives.  After all, we don't get many positive stories about our cops.

Klynn Scales grew up in a very tumultuous environment, in her home she was constantly bombarded with drugs and violence. She often had to steal from the local 7-Eleven to feed herself and two brothers.

At 9-years-old Klynn met a friendly police officer who took an interest in her when he realized things were bad at home. He watched out for her and her young brothers as much as he could.

One day the officer noticed Kynn wasn’t in her usual spot, and he couldn’t see her in the window. Following his intuition he decided to come into the house and thankfully he was there to save her. The young girl was on the floor suffering from severe malnutrition.

Klynn eventually moved away to Kansas City to find a better life for herself and lost track of the officer that helped her so much. Years later a shocking email could reunite them!
