We're C-O-L-D, but at least we're not in the "bomb cyclone" like this!

Something about a British accent makes everything sound so stately.  The tone and delivery sounds smarter and more intelligent than you and me.

The British accent makes even a winter storm named after a "bomb" sound lovely.

No one would want to be part of something called a "bomb cyclone".  It sounds evil, devilish, deadly.

I guess that's why the weather "experts" give such terms to wild storms when they pop up.  It's gets our attention.  It sends us to Wegmans to stock up on necessities like bread, water, soup....and please don't forget the toilet paper. Just in case!

So, why we shiver and shovel through what seems almost normal to upstaters, downstate New York is a different story.  But, really, isn't it always? "Bomb Cyclone" or not?

So, to make this event sound more sophisticated and royal, here's a report from the BBC, where the female reporter's stylish delivery and accent adds fluff to your hot chocolate on a very cold weekend in America.
