No offense to Binghamton Mayor Rich David, but there's a new leader in town. And he knows how to make an entrance into the Southern Tier!
Tim Tebow homered in his first at bat in AA baseball Thursday night when he hit his first pitch out of NYSEG Stadium on Henry St. in Binghamton. Hey, he's conquered many things in life, so of course he would nail the first pitch.
Tebow, who has won a National Championship and Heisman Trophy as the best college football player in America when he starred at the University of Florida, then played quarterback in the NFL. He has his sights set on conquering baseball now.
Watch below and I'm sure you will agree that "Mayor" Tebow is off to a great start in Class AA ball down the street in Binghamton, don't you think?
