Saturday is the 11th annual Record Store Day in America. Let's celebrate by not sitting in a dark room on your device ordering on-line, but actually going to a record store!
You'll find actual vinyl records, great people who love music, and fun stuff to peruse.
There's great places with character to choose from for your musical adventure, from the Record Archive (pictured above) at 33 1/3 Rockwood St., off East Ave. in Rochester, to the House of Guitars on Titus Ave in Irondequoit. Or in Binghamton, a couple of cool spots just down the street from each other on Vestal Pkwy. East. Try out Music City or Sound Go Round for an interesting road trip to Vestal.
Wherever you end up, you'll feel the power of music and a great selection of stuff that can open up your mind while supporting local businesses who share your passion for music!
Happy Record Store Day Saturday!
