Honoring America with true heroes who (literally) fought for US for the 4th

As we celebrate America's 243rd birthday, here are the true heroes we should celebrate as we picnic and party through a summer weekend.

There are parades and fireworks to enjoy over the long holiday weekend. But we should never forget the people who provide us with the freedom to congregate and celebrate.

When you have some down time, please watch below as you meet Medal of Honor recipient David Bellavia of Batavia, NY, and his fellow comrades who were part of one of the bloodiest battles in military history, fought in a hell hole known as Fallujah at the height of the Iraq War.

It is a miracle that men and women like these warriors sign up to put their lives on the line for US, and the flag that flies so proudly during this Fourth of July holiday.

God bless these people for their incredible bravery, and their families for their sacrifice sharing them with us.

God bless America and all of our troops.
