The Good Stuff: Bullied Kid Gets Full Ride Scholarship!

A Florida boy who created a homemade University of Tennessee t-shirt for his school’s “College Colors Day” and was bullied over it. The school heard about it, and now he’s getting a full ride scholarship to the university! The boy’s teacher shared the story on Facebook, and it went viral. University of Tennessee have designed a T-Shirt based off his homemade one, which already has 50,000 pre-orders. Who’s laughing now? More here: ABC News

 

J.K. Rowling, who of course created “Harry Potter,” has donated $20-MILLION to research neurological conditions. It goes to the University of Edinburgh’s Anne Rowling Regenerative Neurology Clinic. Anne was her mother, who died of MS. The research center was created in 2010 after Rowling donated $12-million. More here: GMA

The big game tomorrow at the Dome will be nostalgic as Tim Green, SU’s all time sack Leader, will have his #72 jersey retired.
